Due to the COVID-19 situation a decision to postpone the programme start by one year has been taken, putting the health and wellbeing of our participants, the fairness and the quality of the programme, first.
The MIR is an applied masters course with learning by doing at its heart. The MIR programme includes applied work in robotics labs, wave tanks experiments, visits and seminars in industries which makes the implementation of barrier measures unrealistic and the use of online teaching methods in most cases unsuitable.
We understand that this decision has an important impact on our student personal and professional plans and we are committed to supporting them to the greatest of our abilities. The COVID-19 is a pandemic of global proportions and has required us all to make changes, but also to unite and help each other. To this end, the MIR consortium is proposing on a voluntary basis support actions for its main list students including small research projects in AI and marine and maritime robotics.
